Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will campaign in Haryana on October 14, party sources said on Wednesday.
According to the sources, Rahul will also hold an election rally in Mumbai on October 13.
This came as Rahul was being criticized for going on holiday ahead of the assembly elections in Haryana and Maharashtra.
“Congress party had opposed removal of Article 370. When Rahul Gandhi comes back after celebrating his holiday. He should come to Haryana and tell people whether he is in favor of removal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir or against it,” BJP chief Amit Shah had said on Wednesday.
Rahul will on Thursday appear before a Surat court in connection with a criminal defamation case filed against him.
Haryana and Maharashtra are scheduled for election on October 21 and the counting of votes will take place on October 24.
