Congress leader Hardik Patel was slapped by an unidentified man while addressing a poll rally in Gujarat’s Surendranagar district on Friday.
Hardik Patel was delivering a speech when a man dressed in white clothes walked up to the stage and slapped him.
Soon, others present at the venue climbed the stage and caught hold of the man. The man was later detained.
Meanwhile, Hardik Patel has filed a complaint with the police.
