Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday met the family of police Inspector Subodh Singh who was killed by a mob protesting cow slaughter in Bulandshahr.
Adityanath met the deceased family at his residence in Lucknow.
The meeting took place only after massive criticism when Yogi Adityanath did not mention about the murder of police inspector Subodh Kumar Singh but focused more on cow slaughter at a security review meet.
The family of Inspector had alleged that Singh’s killing was a ‘deep-rooted conspiracy’.
Subodh Kumar Singh was cremated in his ancestral village Jaithra in Etah district on Tuesday.
As per the reports, some of accused who were arrested by the police are said to be linked to Bajrang Dal.
