Four Border Security Force (BSF) personnel were killed on Thursday in an encounter with Naxals in Chhattisgarh, police said.
The skirmish happened in a dense forest near Mahla village in Kanker district when a team of BSF’s 114th battalion was out on a search operation, police said.
According to the reports, two other personnel were also injured in the encounter.
Reinforcement was rushed to the spot and the search operation was underway in the area.
