The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday conducted a raid at the residence of former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda in connection with a land deal case.
The agency has registered a new case against Hooda and others over alleged irregularities in land allocation.
CBI carried out searches at more than 30 locations in Delhi-NCR in connection with the land allocation irregularities case.
A team of officials from the agency arrived Hooda’s home in Rohtak early morning.
In November 2017, the Supreme Court had ordered a CBI probe into the acquisition process for 1,407 acre and subsequent release of 95 % land.
