A special CBI court on Monday convicted National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) chief Ranjan Daimary and 14 others in the 2008 Assam serial bombings which had left over 80 people dead.
CBI Special Judge Aparesh Chakraborty convicted Daimary and 14 others.
The quantum of punishment will be announced on January 30.
The Assam bombings took place on October 30, 2008 in Guwahati, Kokrajhar, Bongaigaon and Barpeta, killing over 80 people and injuring more than 500.
