In the third fodder scam case, former Bihar chief minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav was convicted by a special CBI court in Ranchi on January 24.
The RJD supremo has already been convicted in two other cases related to the fodder scams.
Yadav was first convicted in 2013 in the fodder scam case that took place in Bihar in the 90s. He was then awarded an imprisonment of five years. His conviction in the second case came in December 2017.
However, his son Tejashwi Yadav alleges conspiracy by BJP. The party will pursue the case in higher courts, he informed.
Former chief minister Jagannath Mishra was also found guilty in the case by CBI judge SS Prasad.
