Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will pay an Official visit to India from October 3-6, the External Affairs Ministry said.
This will be the first visit of PM Hasina to India since she came to power in Bangladesh and Prime Minister Narendra Modi was elected for the second time.
During the visit Sheikh Hasina will call upon the President and hold bilateral discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 5.
“Apart from a number of agreements that are to be exchanged between the sides during the visit, the two prime ministers will also jointly inaugurate three bilateral projects via video link,” the statement said.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will also participate as Chief Guest at the India Economic Summit organized by the World Economic Forum on October 3 and 4.
