Ayodhya Verdict: Supreme Court orders Ram Temple on disputed land; alternate land to muslims for Mosque

The Five judges bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of India, Ranjan Gogoi in a historic judgement on Saturday ordered Ram temple on the disputed land of Ayodhya. The Court in its judgement also said that 5 acres of alternate land will be given to the Muslim side to build the mosque. The central government has been given the responsibility to form trust and construct the temple. 

The court has said in its judgement that the Muslim side failed to prove their claim on the land.

The Supreme Court said that ownership cannot be granted on the basis of faith. Also, the court clearly said that the decision was given on the basis of law.
