In another horrific incident involving gun-related violence in the US, a former student armed with an AR-15 rifle reportedly opened fire at a Florida high school on February 14 killing at least 17 people including students and staff.
Around 15 people were also injured in Valentine’s Day rampage in Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.
According to Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel, the gunman is Nikolas Cruz, 19, a former student of the school was reportedly expelled for “disciplinary reasons.”
The shooter has been arrested from a nearby town of Coral Springs.
US President Donald Trump offered condolences to the families of the victims on Twitter.
