Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal, who returned to power after stunning victory in Assembly Elections, will take oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi on February 16.
The oath-taking ceremony will take place at the Ramlila Maidan, sources said.
Kejriwal’s AAP swept the elections by winning 62 of the 70 seats on Tuesday while the BJP won just eight seats and the Congress failed to open its account.
PM Modi on Tuesday congratulated Arvind Kejriwal for his party’s win and wished him “the very best” in fulfilling the aspirations of the people.
“Congratulations to AAP and shri Arvind Kejriwal ji for the victory in the Delhi assembly elections. Wishing them the very best in fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Delhi,” PM Modi tweeted.
