Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia dropped from Melania Trump’s Delhi school visit: Sources

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Deputy Manish Sisodia may have been dropped from the event next week when US First Lady Melania Trump is scheduled to visit Delhi government school, sources said on Saturday.

Sources had earlier claimed that both Kejriwal and Sisodia were to accompany Melania Trump during her visit to the school.

Both were also to brief Melania about the happiness curriculum introduced by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government two years ago as an attempt to reduce stress among school children, sources said.

AAP”s National Executive member Preeti Sharma Menon while responding to media reports in a tweet said, “There is no match for the pettiness of Narendra Modi. You may not invite Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, but their work speaks for them.”

US President Donald Trump accompanied by wife Melania and a high-level delegation will arrive in Ahmedabad at around noon on February 24.

From Ahmedabad, the delegation will travel to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal before arriving to Delhi for the main leg of the visit.
