AAP to release manifesto for Delhi Assembly Elections today

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will release its manifesto for the Delhi Assembly elections on Tuesday.

Both Congress and BJP have already released their manifestos for Delhi polls.

In January Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal released a ’10-point Guarantee Card’ that guarantees 24 hours drinking water supply to every household, free public travel for students. Along with continuing the scheme for free electricity up to 200 units and deployment of “mohalla marshals” for women’s safety. The card has those points the party promised to do in the next five years if elected again.

The “guarantee card” also promises better health facilities, world-class education facility for each child and more than 11,000 buses and to increase the length of the Delhi Metro network to over 500 km.

The Aam Aadmi Party had won 67 of 70 seats in 2015 Delhi assembly elections.

Voting for the 70 Assembly seats in Delhi will take place on February 8 and the counting of votes is scheduled on February 11.
