A 53-year-old visually impaired woman was allegedly raped on Friday in her house by an unidentified person in Bhopal’s Shahpura area, police said.
The woman, who is a banker, was alone at home as her husband was stranded in Rajasthan due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
According to the sources, the suspect entered the woman’s flat through the balcony.
A rape case has been registered and an investigation is underway, police said.
