At least 10 Maoists were killed on Thursday in an encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district.
The encounter took place around 11 am in a forest when a team of security forces was out on an anti-Maoists operation, officials said.
The encounter happened in Bhairamgarh police station area with a joint operation of the Special Task Force (STF) and the District Reserve Guard (DRG).
Search operation is underway.
