Yogi Adityanath files his nomination from Gorakhpur

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath filed his nomination from Gorakhpur Assembly constituency on Friday. A five time former Lok Sabha MP is contesting state assembly elections for the first time as a candidate.

Union home minister Amit Shah, Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP UP president Swatantradev Singh were present at the district collectorate office when Yogi Adityanath filed his nomination first in a state assembly election.

While addressing an election meeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “Entire Purvanchal is BJP. Under the guidance of Modi ji, Yogi ji has worked to restore the pride of Uttar Pradesh by establishing the rule of law in the state by implementing the mantra of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas” on the ground.”

Amit Shah urged the people of the state to re-elect the BJP to power  and coined the slogan ‘Ek Baar Phir se 300 Paar’.
