Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said that the Supreme Court must deliver its verdict on the issue of Ram temple soon else it should hand it over to us and we will resolve it in 24 hours.

Yogi, who appeared on an India TV show said the unnecessary delay in the judgment would only test people’s patience and trust.

Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi on Friday reconstituted the five-judge Constitution bench of the Supreme Court that will hear the Ayodhya-Ram Janmabhoomi case.

Justice Abdul Nazeer and Justice Ashok Bhushan have been added to the bench. The bench also has Justices SA Bobde and DY Chandrachud.

The bench led by Chief Justice will on January 29 decide on a schedule and the frequency of hearings in the case.
