Vice President Venkaiah Naidu offers prayers at Lord Balaji temple in Tirumala

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu along with his family members offered prayers at Lord Balaji temple on Tuesday morning.

Naidu said, “Had darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy this morning in Tirumala. Prayed for universal peace and a world free from conflicts and hunger. Also prayed for well being and prosperity of all people.”

He further said he invoked the Lord’s blessings for a good rainfall and farmers’ well-being.

“Our country is moving in the right direction towards economic prosperity and want the fruits of development to reach to every section. I also invoked the Lord’s blessings for a good rainfall and farmers’ well-being,” Naidu said in a tweet.

Venkateswara Temple is situated in the hill town of Tirumala at Tirupati in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.

The temple is also known by other names like Tirumala Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple and Tirupati Temple.
