Yoga is a practice that makes your life disciplined. It can be called as Art and science of healthy living. Though Yoga originated thousands of years ago but still in this modern age people have faith in it as it has transformed their lives. To gather more information on this we spoke to few women of the society who are practicing yoga every day.

After gaining faith in yoga she decided to get proper training of it and has now become a certified wellness Expert. As a Yoga instructor she had trained many women in Delhi and Noida now. According to her people should spare some time everyday from their busy schedule before going to the office or after coming back so that they can overcome or fight the disease like conditions. Body Stretching is a must for everyone esp. Talasana, Hastapadasana, Pawanmuktasana, Katichakrasan and Konaasana should be practiced every day. Replying to our question on increase of Heart attack cases in Gyms etc, Vandana said people are not aware that after doing heavy exercises in Gyms it is important to bring the body to a normal temperature, because of which heart attack cases have increased. For which she suggests cooling Pranayam. Post Covid- 19 and after vaccine also people have reported symptoms of fatigue, difficulty in breathing and shortness of Breath, Blood pressure issues etc and to overcome this one must start doing yoga immediately, she adds.  Yoga can also help you burn calories, manage stress and improve your mood says Jasleen, a Maths Teacher, who is doing yoga from past four years.

She is 80 years old now but never forgets to practice Uttanasana and Marjaryasana for stomach. Same is the case with Shakuntala Sharma who does Anulom Vilom to get relief from stress and Anxiety.

Although, Yoga has its roots in Ancient India. It aims to bring harmony between the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional aspects of a person.  According to Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, If anyone is suffering from hypertension it can easily be controlled by Yoga and pranayam.  He says pranayams like Kapalbhati, Anulom Vilom, Bhramari, Shitali, Shitkari, Udgeeth, Sukshma Vyayayam, Bhastrika and Asanas like Bhujangasana, Mandukasan, Ardh halasana are best to control hypertension.
