Sushant Singh Rajput’s father files FIR against Rhea Chakraborty for abetting suicide

Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case has taken a surprise twist after his father KK Singh filed an FIR in Patna against his rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and five others for abetment to suicide, police said.

The case has been lodged under IPC Sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 342 (wrongful confinement), 380 (theft in dwelling house), 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust) and 420 (cheating).

In his complaint, Sushant’s father KK Singh said, “My son was doing extremely well in Bollywood till May 2019, during that period Rhea Chakraborty and her relatives got in touch with him so that Rhea could use his contacts to establish herself in the film industry.”

“She along with her family members started interfering in my son’s life. They even forced him to move out of the house he was living in, saying that some paranormal activities were going on there which had a big-time impact on my son’s mind,” he said in his complaint.

He has also mentioned in the FIR that crores of rupees were transferred from Sushant’s bank account to a few other bank accounts which were not linked with the late actor in any way.

A four-member team of the Patna Police has reached Mumbai for further investigations.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14 in his flat in Bandra.
