SBI chairman inaugurates new Administrative office building at Mohali and e-lobby at PGI Chandigarh

Rajnish Kumar, chairman, State Bank of India, on Monday inaugurated bank’s new premises of Administrative office in Mohali and e-lobby at PGI. The new premises at Mohali will cover 13 districts of Punjab through 6 BRO’s whereas the e-lobby at PGI will help cater to financial needs for patients and their attendants.

As part of Bank’s CSR initiatives, Rajnish Kumar also donated an ambulance to PGI, Chandigarh for their extension block of Nehru hospital in the presence of Prof. Jagat Ram, Director PGI, Chandigarh.

Rajnish Kumar said, “We at SBI keep customers in the center in everything we do and always endeavor to provide access to customers with better and convenient banking and financial services. With the new e-lobby, we believe patients and their families will get hassle-free access to all their financial needs and requirements at the hospital itself without the worry of finding banks and ATMs outdoor. This is also a step closer to digital and green India.”

Kumar also inaugurated heritage gallery at Local Head office, Chandigarh, wherein over 200 years of journey of the bank from inception to date is depicted by means of photographs and antiques.
