Punjab: Three Students arrested from Jalandhar institute for alleged terror links

Punjab Police and Special Operations Group (SoG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday in a joint operation, arrested three Kashmiri students from Jalandhar institute for alleged terror links.

According to sources, police have busted a terror module of Kashmiri terror outfit linked to Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGH), in Jalandhar.

The students were nabbed from the hostel of CT Institute of Engineering Management and Technology, located in Shahpur on the outskirts of Jalandhar, DGP said in a statement.

The cops also recovered assault rifles, ammunition, and explosives from their hostel room.

A case has been registered and the police are conducting further investigation into the matter.
