ICC Cricket World Cup 2019: India beat Pakistan by 89 runs

India beat Pakistan by 89 runs in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at The Old Trafford, Manchester On Sunday.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, India scored a striking 336 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 50 overs and set the target of 337. Due to rain the target was reduced to 302 in 40 overs as per DLS. Chasing the target Pakistan scored 212 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 40 overs.

Rohit Sharma scored a splendid 140 Runs from 113 balls, whereas Captain Virat Kohli scored 77 runs from 65 balls.

For Pakistan Fakhar Zaman scored 62 runs from 75 balls.

India will play Afghanistan next on 22nd June.
