Delhi court grants regular bail to former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, family members in IRCTC case

Delhi’s Patiala House Court on Monday granted regular bail to former Bihar chief minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi, son Tejashwi Yadav and others in connection to the IRCTC scam case.

According to reports, the bail was granted on a personal bond of Rs 1 Lakh and a surety amount each. The next date of hearing is scheduled for February 11.

The IRCTC scam is related to alleged irregularities in granting operational contract of two IRCTC hotels to a private firm.

The CBI had earlier filed the charge sheet in the case, had said that there was enough evidence against the accused.
