CBSE postpones board exams in North East Delhi

Number of deaths due to violence reached 11

In view of the violent condition in Northeast Delhi, CBSE has postponed the board examination to be held in North East Delhi region on Wednesday. 10th and 12th examinations were scheduled to start from tomorrow.
Kejriwal government of Delhi had urged CBSE in view of the situation of violence in the capital, which CBSE has accepted and decided not to held the examination tomorrow. This decision is related to the examination centers of North East part of Delhi and not to other parts of Delhi.

CBSE has uploaded the names of all those examination centers on its website where the examination is postponed. Students appearing in the exam can see it there.

Meanwhile, the death toll in Delhi violence has reached 11. Many people are currently undergoing treatment in hospitals. Around 150 people have been injured in this violence, many of which are said to be critical.
