Security forces picked up seven persons during the nocturnal raids in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district

The forces raided many houses at Kakapora area of the district during the night. Even though the police has confirmed the arrests, it hasn’t revealed the rationale behind doing so.
Earlier also, the forces have been arresting people during nightly raids in parts of South Kashmir. In first week of May, at least 19 youth were detained by the government forces during raids at Gudoora, Newa and Parigam villages.
“The arrests are made for alleged  involvement in stone pelting or militancy links,” said a police officer.
