25 Air India flights delayed due to Technical Glitch

As many as 25 Air India flights were delayed worldwide on Saturday after a software malfunction in the check-in software hampered operations.

The departure timings of around 25 flights were affected and the delays owing to the software malfunction stretched from 15-30 minutes.

According to the airline spokesperson, “The server we use was down for a while, the software-related glitch affected check-in and other services, which were handled manually, however it has been restored. We are still examining the extent of the delays.”

Air India in an official tweet said, “Due to unexpected network connectivity issues at SITA Atlanta Datacenter , which had a worldwide impact, 25 flights were delayed from 1210 hrs to 1510 hrs on Airindia network. Operations are normal now.
